System Of A Down singer Serj Tankian has announced his solo EP ‘Elasticity’ and debuted the video for the title track. You can watch the visual below.
Last December, Serj Tankian explained about his upcoming solo EP with Rolling Stone, although he had originally written for a new SOAD album. Tankian’s anticipated EP, which is due out on MArch 19 via Alchemy Recordings.
“As we weren’t able to see eye to eye on the vision going forward with SOAD album, I decided to release these songs under my moniker, ” singer Tankian explained.
He continues, “When I conceived possibly doing another record with the guys from System Of A Down a few years back, I started working on a set of songs that I arranged in rock format for that purpose.” he stated in a statement.
In addition, on February 19th, Tankian will release his documentary, Truth To Power, which examines the singer life.
