GOJIRA Drops Video For New Song “Amazonia”

Gojira have dropped their latest single “Amazonia” ahead of their long-awaited new record “Fortitude”. Their new full-length LP is due out on April 30 via Roadrunner Records. Stream their latest video below.

The latest single is the third single from the French metallers, which follow-up to previously offered two songs, “Born For One Thing” and “Another World”. The band stated that: “Proceeds from this song will benefit The Articulation of Indigenous Peoples of Brazil (APIB) who advocates for environmental and cultural rights of indigenous tribes in the Amazon who have suffered immensely – victims of deforestation, land loss, forced labor, violence, and harassment.”

Their killer video directed by Charles De Meyer, the ‘Amazonia’ video mixes footage of the Gojira performing the track with cinematic shots of indigenous people of Amazon with the clips of deforestation and burning forest.

The band’s forthcoming LP is a follow-up to 2016’s Grammy-nominated album “Magma”, their original music after the near 5 years.
