Metallica has announced to launch their podcast titled, The Metallica Podcast, presents by Amazon.
The upcoming Metallica’s podcast will feature behind scenes of their classic self-titled album, best known as, The Black Album. According to the band, it is stated that the first arrival podcast will feature eight episodes.
Heavy metal pioneer’s classic “The Black Album” is one of the most commercially successful albums of all time. In December of 2019, The Black Album became the fourth album in American history to have spent over 500 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart.
Recently, The Black Album’s track “Nothing Else Matters” has surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube. This album (16-times-platinum certified) spent over 10 collective years on the Billboard 200.
In addition, the band will celebrate its 30th anniversary of “The Black Album” on August 12. Meanwhile, Metallica’s song “Nothing Else Matters” has featured in Disney’s film “Jungle Cruise”.
