Metallica announced their massive remastered black album set in earlier this year, in celebration of their 30th anniversary of the epic album “The Black Album”. Behalf of its release, the band unveiled Jason Newsted’s video unboxing the deluxe album set.
It may be unexpected things for many Metallica fans that Metallica is giving praise and respect to their former bassist Jason Newsted after his departure in 2001. Without a doubt, Newsted has been the most energetic and most renowned metal bassist in the world.
In 1986 Newsted joined his favorite band Metallica after the tragic death of Cliff Burton on tour bus accident in Sweden. He remained for 15c years in his job until he left in 2001.
Newsted sits on a porch table in the unboxing video and tells backstories while making the black album. Their special 30th-anniversary deluxe edition of “The Black Album” is coming this September 10.
